About Dr. Westwood
Prior to becoming a doctor of chiropractic Dr. Westwood attended Waynesburg College (now Waynesburg University) where he graduated with his bachelors degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training. He is a certified athletic trainer through the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification. Dr. Westwood did graduate level athletic training work at California University of PA. He has worked in many different settings as an athletic trainer, most notably in professional baseball. Dr Westwood worked in the Boston Red Sox and Pittsburgh Pirates organizations.
Dr. Westwood attended New York Chiropractic College where did clinical rotations at Monroe Community Hospital, St Josephs Neighborhood Clinic, and Veterens Hospitals. In his practice Dr. Westwood stresses the importance of rehabilitative exercise programs to fix the underlying biomechanical problems associated with pain and dysfunctional movement patterns.
In his spare time Dr Westwood enjoys spending time with his wife Meghan, their twin boys and two dogs. He enjoys playing golf, watching sports and movies and cooking.
